Earth Fest

The sixth annual Earth Fest, hosted by the Partnership for Sustainability, took place Saturday, April 26, 2014, at the Merritt Elementary School, the Mt. Iron Community Center, and the Messiah Lutheran Church, from 9 am to 4 pm.  The Aquaponics team, from Iron Range Engineering, displayed their new mobile unit as well as their experimental station.  The team handed out brochures, discussed sustainability issues of this closed loop organic food process, and promoted Iron Range Engineering to a multitude of interested like minded people.  

Earth Fest was a success.  There was an incredible amount of interest and a number of visitors were already growing food hydroponically and are interested in incorporating fish into their existing systems.  Our team enjoyed speaking with the public and visiting the other exhibits.
